One yard.
One audit trail.
Whether it’s a single drum of tungsten inserts or a multi-week Pilbara shutdown – the path from your scrap to the smelter doesn’t change. Only the trucks and the tonnage do.
Four steps. One yard.
Every load runs through the same path. Scale the trucks, the tonnage, and the logistics – the recovery sequence doesn’t change.
- 01 / Step Materials Received Photos in, indicative quote in four hours. Bin or sealed container dropped, scrap loaded and en route to the yard.
- 02 / Step Inspect & Sort Niton XRF for carbide & precious; PMI for stainless & nickel. Every batch grade-called and signed before sort.
- 03 / Step Weigh & Log 60-tonne NMI-certified weighbridge. Photographed, ticketed, batch-tagged - bound into the audit trail before payment.
- 04 / Step Payment Sent EFT within 48 hours of you signing the assay. Traceability PDF lands with the funds - weighbridge, assay, destination, recovery.

A few snaps of the pile plus a rough weight is enough for an indicative per-kg range. Best for one-off drums, single skips, and lots under 500kg.

Free, metro & regional 02Book a yard walk-through
Free for metro Perth and larger regional sites. We bring the Niton, walk the lot, call grades on the spot. Best for mixed yards, end-of-life tooling stores, and pre-shutdown scopes.

Anything we missed?
The questions we get asked most by procurement, maintenance and HSE teams looking at us for the first time.
-
No – metro Perth and most regional WA sites get a free yard visit before we quote. We bring the Niton XRF and call grades on the spot. For very remote sites we may discuss a travel contribution, but only if the load doesn’t cover it.
-
Metro Perth: usually next business day. Pilbara/Goldfields: we run scheduled loops, so collection slots in to the next loop – typically within 5-10 business days. For shutdowns we plan the trucks around your window.
-
Per-element composition (Co/W/Ti for carbide, Cr/Ni/Mo for stainless/nickel, full PGM breakdown for precious), grade classification, batch ID, operator initials and a photo of the sample. You sign it before we sort or pay anything.
-
Yes – sealed lockable containers, NDAs on file, and witnessed destruction available for branded or proprietary tooling. The traceability PDF can be redacted for your downstream destination disclosure if that’s a procurement requirement.
-
Yes. EFT within 48 hours of you signing the assay – we carry the float to the smelter. Walk-in loads under $2k get an on-the-spot cheque. Repeat clients can run on account terms.
-
Yes – we built the format with three big Pilbara ESG teams over 2022/23. It carries weighbridge ticket, assay, photo evidence, downstream destination, recovery percentages, and the alignment notes your auditor needs. Ask for a sample on the contact form.
