Why specialty mining recovery

Don't bin worn tooling
as "general scrap."

Most of what comes off a mine site is worth a serious premium over common scrap steel – but only if the buyer assays it. General yards pay you a flat “mixed alloy” rate and pocket the difference. We X-ray every batch, separate by alloy family (carbide vs alloy steel vs stainless), and pay you on the actual element content – with a paper trail your sustainability team can put in their report.

What we accept

Nine streams.
Three categories.

Everything off a mine site fits under one of three buckets – the drilling string, the fixed plant, or the powerlines and workshop. Same assay, same audit trail.

02 / Plant wear & residues
Off the fixed plant
The crusher liners, mill plates and pickers that grind through tonnes a shift - plus the swarf that the workshop sweeps up after re-sharpening.
Mill liners Manganese and chrome-alloy mill liners, ball-mill shell plates, lifter bars.
Wear plates & pickers Crusher wear parts, jaw plates, hammer mills, conveyor pickers, screen panels.
Grinding swarf Carbide and alloy steel grinding swarf from on-site re-sharpening.
03 / Cable & non-ferrous
From the powerlines & workshop
High-recovery copper, brass and aluminium - the lines that feed the plant and the offcuts the workshop strips out on every shutdown.
Power & control cable Trailing cable, reeler cable, control and instrumentation wire. Stripped or whole drums.
Transformers & motors Decommissioned transformers, switchgear, electric motors, alternators and pump stators.
Non-ferrous offcuts Brass valves and fittings, aluminium plate and extrusion, copper busbar and pipe.
The process

Four steps. One yard.

Every load runs through the same path. Scale the trucks, the tonnage, and the logistics – the recovery sequence doesn’t change.

  • 01 / Step Materials Received Photos in, indicative quote in four hours. Bin or sealed container dropped, scrap loaded and en route to the yard. 4H · Indicative quote
  • 02 / Step Inspect & Sort Niton XRF for carbide & precious; PMI for stainless & nickel. Every batch grade-called and signed before sort. 100% · Assayed on site
  • 03 / Step Weigh & Log 60-tonne NMI-certified weighbridge. Photographed, ticketed, batch-tagged - bound into the audit trail before payment. 60T · NMI-certified
  • 04 / Step Payment Sent EFT within 48 hours of you signing the assay. Traceability PDF lands with the funds - weighbridge, assay, destination, recovery. 48H · EFT after sign-off
Why work with us

Four commitments. Every job.

Whether you bring us one drum or run us a multi-week shutdown – these four commitments are the same on every job. Same yard, same process, same paperwork: from a ute load to a full Pilbara campaign.

Our standard, on every batch
  • Weighed – every load

NMI-certified 60t weighbridge. Photographed and ticketed before sort, so the number on the scale matches the number on your invoice.

  • Assayed – every batch

Niton XRF for carbide and precious metals. PMI for stainless and nickel alloys. Every batch grade-called and signed off before it leaves the sort floor.

  • Paid – inside 48 hours

EFT within two business days of you signing the assay. Cheque on the spot for walk-ins under $2k. Same terms whether it’s your first drum or your fiftieth shutdown.

  • Audited – every job

One signed PDF per batch – weighbridge, assay, downstream destination, recovery percentages. NGER- and GRI-ready for your sustainability and finance teams.

Sustainability & ESG

Recycling tungsten is good for your bottom line and the planet.

Tungsten is a critical mineral with a finite global supply. Recycling it reduces the need for primary extraction, cuts energy use and keeps high-value material in circulation. For businesses with ESG commitments or sustainability reporting requirements, tungsten recycling is a concrete, measurable contribution - not a goodwill gesture. We provide full traceability documentation and material recovery records to support your compliance reporting at every stage.

ESG-aligned practices

A recovery process built for your disclosure.

Source-to-smelter recovery that maps cleanly to GRI 306, ISO 14001 and ICMM reporting - without bolting on a bespoke audit process at your end.

Traceability & reporting

Full records from gate to furnace.

Weighbridge tickets, assay records and downstream destination on every load, packaged into a single traceability PDF for your compliance team.

Waste-to-value conversion

Disposal cost in, recovery value out.

What used to leave site as a waste charge comes back as paid recovery - and a measurable Scope 3 reduction on your annual report.
