Malaga · WA 6090 Malaga is Drill Bits Recyclers’ Perth depot: a specialist trade yard built around tungsten carbide and drill bit recycling, and the anchor point for the company’s WA-wide collection network. Regional collections from the Goldfields, Kalgoorlie and Pilbara connect back through this yard.
We also handle drill rods, tungsten tools, carbide inserts, end mills and cutters, tricones, dies and punches, grinding sludge, GET and wear parts, high-speed steel, manganese, stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, nickel alloys and tantalum. Every load that arrives is sorted and graded here before it is weighed, so carbide, attached steel and any contamination are assessed separately rather than priced as one mixed lot. Mixed or unidentified material is welcome; send photos ahead and the team will tell you what to keep apart before it leaves your site.

The listed yard hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm, and Saturday 7am to 1pm. We’re closed Sunday. Call ahead on (08) 6385 7855 or make an appointment before visiting, because the team is not always at the yard.

No. Drill Bits Recyclers is a trade yard for mining operations, drilling contractors, engineering workshops, manufacturers and similar businesses bringing in commercial volumes of worn drill bits, tungsten carbide and specialty alloys. We don’t process household metal, jewellery, coins or general kerbside drop-offs.

Yes. DBR covers all of Western Australia and arranges each job directly with the customer. Pilbara and Goldfields collections are assessed case by case and are generally completed within the same week. See where we collect across WA for the current regional list.

For qualifying commercial loads, yes: no cost for the bin and no cost for the freight, because the bin travels on an existing backload rather than a dedicated freight run. The bin itself, an IBC pod or one of our skip bins, moves on your existing backload; we don’t run a pickup for it.

Pricing depends on the material, its grade, any contamination or attached steel, and the tonnage delivered. Drill bits and carbide are priced on tungsten content against the current market price for tungsten. See the relevant materials page for the mechanism for your metal.
