Small bins
Loose tooling such as drill bits, carbide inserts, dies, punches and worn end mills.
Drill Bits Recyclers supplies a bin or pod sized to the worn tooling coming out of your yard, then arranges collection across Perth or regional WA on a backload. The load is settled after depot weighing and grading. There is no cost for the bin or the backload freight.
A dedicated container keeps specialty metal separate from general steel. Small bins suit loose inserts and bits, lined drums contain grinding sludge, and larger pods take GET and wear parts. Our skip bins and IBC pods move on your existing backload; we don’t run a skip truck to pick them up.
The bin and freight travel on an available backload at no cost to the customer. Collections are arranged job by job. Bins are generally for repeat customers; one-off requests depend on location, material and weight, and a one-off drill bit bin normally requires more than 2,000 kg.
Collections are arranged individually for each job rather than on a fixed route. In and around Perth, most pickups happen the same day or the next; Pilbara and Goldfields collections are arranged case by case and are generally picked up within the week. These are typical timeframes, not a guarantee.
Every collection comes with weight and recovery documentation, useful if your own reporting needs a record of what left site. Where we quote a job ahead of the bin being collected, that quote carries its own expiry, usually 24 or 72 hours depending on the material and the market at the time.
Your team loads the container at its own pace. Call when it is ready and we arrange the next suitable backload. At Malaga, the load is weighed, logged, graded and settled.
Send photos, the site location and a rough material estimate.
Step 1We supply the agreed bin or pod and your team loads it between drops.
Step 2Call when it is ready and we arrange the next suitable backload.
Step 3The load is weighed, graded and settled after it reaches Malaga.
Step 4One bin off a workshop floor or a multi-bin job across a shutdown, every load is weighed and logged the same way.
The range moves with the metal and the impact category studied, whichever bin or pod it came from. No yard-specific reduction is claimed.
Tell us what’s coming out of the yard and we’ll size the container and get it moving on the next backload.
